I’m a regular here as it’s near my workplace and has generous portions of a variety of Asian foods. Depending on my mood and how hungry I am, I regularly order the salmon nigiri, the spicy crispy chicken, the beef chow fun or the dumpling soup, although I’ve tried most of the menu at this stage. The photo is of one of the current specials (taiwanese rice roll with pork, egg, pickles, youtiao and meat floss) which I found really filling and tasty, and not a bad price at $8! The staff are almost always friendly and helpful, and the older lady who seems to be the boss seems sweet. They will sometimes make suggestions for new menu items, one of the younger Asian female staff members had great recommendations for the pad Thai special and fried flounder, and the older Asian lady who I think is the boss will sometimes ask for feedback about new dishes on the menu. The prices have risen a little within the past year or two, but I find that the large portion sizes and tasty food justify it for me. The Korner kitchen is one of the best kept secrets in Ann Arbor. If you like Japanese and Korean food, you will love this place. Likewise, they have really good sushi as well.

Food is meh. And it probably caused me an upset stomach. Their kitchen is the back office of the main grocery store next to the rest rooms. The ambience is zero cos it’s literally 3 tables at the checkout section of the grocery store. Service is counter order so not really much. And did I mention that you pay high end restaurant prices - just lunch for two came to ~$50.

Very disappointing. The stir-fried rice cakes with pork and vegetables were mostly bean sprouts, with barely any rice cakes or bok choy. Charging $17 for that portion and quality is unreasonable. Easily the worst rice cake dish I’ve had in the U.S. Only thing taste good was the coconut milk drink.

Ordered Spicy Miso Ramen, was a bit disappointed in taste of food. The meat tasted old, the broth was flavorless and watered down. I also ordered sushi that was placed right next to my soup container which caused the sushi to be warm by the time I received order from restaurant.
